AFCAT 2 2020 Notification Out: Indian Air Force welcomes Indian residents (Men and Women) to be a part of its world-class power as Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches for courses initiating in July 2021. Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfillall the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination viz. Written examination and SSB test will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the written examination or AFSB Testing, it is found that they do not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions,their candidature will be cancelled by the IAF.

Note: There is no admission directed for Accounts and Logistics branches for AFCAT 02/2020 for course initiating in July 2021
AFCAT 2 2020 Eligibility Conditions
(a) Nationality. Applicant must be a resident of India according to Indian citizenship act, 1955.
(I) Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2021 for example conceived between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2001 (the two dates comprehensive). Upper age limit for applicants holding legitimate and current Commercial Pilot License gave by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years for example conceived between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (the two dates comprehensive).
(ii) Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branch: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2021 for example conceived between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (the two dates comprehensive)..

AFCAT 2 2020 Exam Pattern (Multiple Choice Questions)
Time Duration: 2 hrs

Subjects: Verbal capacity, Numerical capacity, Reasoning, General Awareness and Military Aptitude.
There is a negative stamping 1/3 in all segments.
Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) would be for 45 minutes and led following AFCAT.
