Exam Pattern of SSC CGL 2020 Tier-1 Online Exam
SSC CGL 2020 Tier-I exam will be an objective exam which will be conducted online. It comprises of four sections. I will be having 100 questions (25 questions in each section) which will account for a total of 200 marks (maximum 50 marks in each section). Negative marking of 0.5 marks for wrong answers will be there. The time duration of Tier-1 exam will be 60 minutes.

Highlights of SSC CGL Exam Analysis 2020 CBE (Tier-1)
- SSC CGL Exam will be conducted in Online Mode across different centres in India.
- Questions will be in Objective Type MCQ Format.
- Each question will be of 2 marks.
- All the sections will be in English and Hindi Language.
- SSC CGL Exam will be negative marking of 0.5 Marks for wrong answers.
- Candidates must carry Admit Card with affixed Photograph on it and Original ID proof along with its photocopy as well.
SSC CGL Tier-1 2020 Exam Key Points
- SSC CGL Tier-II: It will be an objective exam which will be conducted through online medium. The exam comprises of four Papers –
- Quantitative Abilities
- English Language and Comprehension
- Statistics
- General Studies (Finance & Economics). Paper-I and Paper-II are compulsory for all posts.
Paper-III is for the candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for this Post/Paper.
Paper-IV will be for only those candidates who are qualified in Tier-I for Paper-IV, i.e., for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
SSC CGL Tier-III: It is a descriptive paper and will be held in offline mode. Candidates English Proficiency, vocabulary usage, grammar knowledge and writing skills will be tested in English/Hindi.
SSC CGL Tier-IV: It comprises of skill tests which are required for certain posts: DEST (Data Entry Speed Test), CPT (Computer Proficiency Test) and Document Verification
