  • The Safari will replace Maruti Gypsy in Indian Army

Maruti Gypsy 4X4: (B Vehicle)

  • Additional 4,200 ordered in October 2014.
  • It will soon be replaced by Tata Safari Storme

Tata LPTA 713 TC (Medium 4X4 Truck) (B Vehicle)

  • Commonly known as 2.5 Ton truck in Army
  • Manufactured by Vehicle Factory Jabalpur.

Ashok Leyland Stallion (B Vehicle)Mk III/Mk IV (4×4 and 6×6 Truck)

  • 5 Ton trucks, in a wide range of configurations
  • Manufactured by Vehicle Factory Jabalpur.

BEML Tatra (8×8) (A Vehicle)

Ashok Leyland Super Stallion (B Vehicle) (6X6, 8X8, 10X10)

KrAZ-6322 (Heavy Utility Truck) (A Vehicle)

Used to carry Medium Guns in Artillery

Field Artillery Tractor (B Vehicle)

 commonly known as FAT in Indian Army
Vehicle is  used as a gun tractor for up to 155 mm field guns and howitzers.
The FAT has a payload capacity of 10 000 kg
